Economics Students Attended a Nobel Laureate for Economics Public Lecture On 1st of March 2024, second and third year Economics students attended a public lecture in Japan-ASEAN Bridges event series at Prince of Songkhla University. The honorary keynote speaker was Professor Robert F. Engle III, a Nobel Laureate for Economics and Michael Armellino Professor of Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business, New York/USA. His topic was “The prospects for global financial stability: a financial approach to climate risk”. His model and its generalisations have become indispensable tools not only for researchers, but also for analysts of financial markets, who use them in asset pricing and in evaluating portfolio risk. On 4th of March 2004, Dr. Thanawit Bunsit visited Globlex Securities Co., Ltd. and Com 7 company in Bangkok. D r .
