Student's Name : Mister SATAWAT SRIRATANAPONG Advisory Committee : Professor Dr. KORAKOD TONGKACHOK Degree and Program : Master of Laws in Laws Academic Year : 2022 The objectives of the research were; 1) to study the procedures of entry into the Kingdom of Thailand for Thais holding dual nationality, including problems and obstacles faced when entering the Kingdom, 2) to study concepts, theories, and principles involving entry into the Kingdom for Thais holding dual nationality, and 3) to study laws, regulations, and immigration procedures involving entry into the Kingdom for Thais holding dual nationality. This qualitative research was conducted using documents and in-depth interviews. The research revealed that current immigration procedures for entry into the Kingdom are the same for Thais holding dual nationality, as they are for foreigners holding only a foreign passport. For Thais holding dual nationality, this infringes on the rights of being Thai, as it affects the permitted length of stay in the Kingdom, and regulations need to be followed, such as notification of residence and 90-days reporting to Thai immigration. If such procedures are not followed, prosecution for overstaying the permitted length of stay could result. These faulty procedures are the result of misinterpretation of laws and regulations by officers in many government sectors, including immigration, and Thai embassies and consulates abroad. It is recommended that Thai immigration reviews its procedures regarding the treatment of Thais holding dual nationality, and establishes procedures that do
