ง บทคัดย่อภาษาอังกฤษ Abstract Thesis Title : Legal Measures Protecting Rights of Families of Victims Enforced Disappearance Student's Name : Miss TANYAPORN PANKAEW Advisory Committee : Assistant Professor Dr Jidapa Pronying Degree and Program : Master of Laws in Laws Academic Year : 2022 This research study aimed to investigate the regulatory impact and justice process in the case of a lack of legal measures protecting the rights of families of victims of enforced disappearance by pushing for appropriate legal enforcement of the problem and upgrading the protection of human rights in Thailand to be consistent with both the international standard and principles of the Thai Constitution. This qualitative study examined research documents, field studies, and conducting in-depth interviews.The research findings revealed that the Torture and Enforced Disappearance Protection and Suppression Act 2022 was enforced on 25 th October 2022 and came into effect 120 days after the announcement in the government gazette. It also found no obvious legal measure or regulation for protecting the rights of victims of enforced disappearance, and families also receive no support, affecting both their human rights and mental well-being. As a result, the researcher proposed guidelines for establishing legal measures for protecting the rights of families of victims of enforced disappearance by drafting the Regulation of Rights and Freedom Protection on Criteria of Protection Measure, and Rights for the Families of Victims of Enforced Disappearance … as a complement to the Torture and Enforced Disappearance Protection and Suppression Act 2022.
