ฉ It is suggested that the Nationality Act B.E.2561, Section 7, should be amended to give rights of Thai nationality to ethnic groups and permission to the sea gypsies to live and fish in the area of Lanta, Li Peh, and Surian Islands to enable them to earn a living and the government should enforce these specific laws to protect the sea gypsies in southern Thailand.
