29 Abstract Wetlands, It is a natural resource and environment that is important to life. Because of it is a source of natural resources and products that can be used by humans in terms of ecological, economic, social and political. Purposing in both local, national and international systems. Currently, wetlands have been destroyed or altered to be utilized in various ways, the main reason being the lack of basic information for wetland management planning. The assignment of powers and duties that are not clearly separated. Lack of awareness of the value and importance of wetlands for sustainable use, Citizens are not involved in planning for wetland management. Law enforcement on the stewardship of wetland resources is ineffective. And in terms of direct wetland management, there is no legal statute to support it. Only to apply other laws to the management of wetlands. From the analysis of various laws that are applied to wetland management found that there were still weaknesses in many issues, such as the determination of the scope of duties and responsibilities. The public sector lacks opportunities to express opinions. The boundaries of the area for the utilization of natural resources and the environment are unclear. Such weakness is therefore a problem in law enforcement and makes the management of natural resources and the environment under the act not as effective as it should be. Therefore, laws or ordinances to support the conservation and protection of wetlands in Thailand should be enacted. With the idea of issuing legislation in the same direction as the text of the Ramsar Convention. This will result in efficient and sustainable conservation of wetlands in Thailand.
