1076 การประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติมหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ครั้งที่ 29 ประจำปี 2562 วิจัยและนวัตกรรมเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน Factor affecting hatchability in Naked-neck chicken using logistic regression Wisan Odton 1* and Vitoon Supasiripong 1 Abstract The hatchability traits of Naked-neck chickens were analyzed. The traits were fertility (FE), hatchability of fertile eggs (HF) and hatchability of egg set (HS). For the definition of the traits, each egg was scored for each trait either as 0 or 1. The nine hundred ninety one hatching eggs were collected from 28 cocks and 101 hens. The hens were artificially inseminated once a week with 3 to 5 hens per 1 cock. The hatching egg were incubated every 7 for four hatches. The fixed effects were classified as Naked-neck phenotypes of cock (Na/Na and Na/ na+) and hen (Na/Na และ Na/na+), the day after insemination (1- 7 day), egg storage duration (1- 7 day) and hatch (1-4). The multiple logistic regression was used to test the significance of the fixed effects. The percent- ages for FE, HF and HS were 72.05, 79.10 and 54.99%, respectively. The odd of FE of Na/Na cock was 1.12 times higher than that of Na/na+ cock (p<0.05), but the odd of HF of Na/Na cock was 0.85 times lower than that of Na/na cock ( p <0.01). The odds of FE and HS decreased 0.79 and 0.82 times, respectively when the day after insemination increased 1 day. However, Naked-neck phenotypes of hen and egg storage duration were not significant on reproductive traits (p>0.05). Keywords: Logistic regression, fertility, hatchability
