1473 การประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติมหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ครั้งที่ 29 ประจำปี 2562 วิจัยและนวัตกรรมเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน Originality on Linear Functions and Quadratic Functions by Open Approach for Grade 10 Students Mubaruk Muenrayapukdee 1* and kasem Pramprayoon 2 Abstract Introduction : Originality is a main element to develop ideas that accords with 21 th century skills. Mathematic is a part of development thinking and it made students to be creativity but in the present found that in the mathematic classes mostly students lacked of originality to solve mathematic problems caused by strategy that teacher used blocked their ideas which open approach is a strategy to open students think independent- ly to solve problems and this strategy use open-ended problems to encourage originality’s students. Objective : To study the development of originality on Linear Function and Quadratic Function taught by open approach. Method : This research is a classroom action research and the target group was 30 students in grade 10 th stu- dents who study in 2018 academic year at Kanlayanee si thammarat school. The research instruments were four lesson plans taught by open approach with 8 hours and four worksheets . Analysis of data follow Guilford’s framework in classroom that used open approach follow Maitree Intaraprasit’s framework. Results : To find that open approach for Linear Function and Quadratic Function encouraged student’s origi- nality were 1) Linear Function, students understood the relation of 2 variables through the situations in daily life and then they can applied with graph that was an original knowledge to solve problems. Student started to think different ways by using original knowledge for junior high school to solve problems such as table, linear equation but most students used table. 2) Quadratic Function, students analyzed open-ended problems and explain in term of parabola graph, mostly student used basic knowledge to solve problems such as table but there is a different idea that they applied with quadratic equation. Conclusion : Open approach encouraged the student’s originality increased to solve problems by using differ- ent ideas. Keywords : Originality, open approach.
