Tassanee Noonart 1 Walailak Suwanpakdee 1 and Benjawan Lahukan 1 Abstract Introduction : Recently, Gastational Diabetes Mallitus was founded often.It has effected with mathernal and child. Nowaday, incident rate in Thailand has been high, which this event can be protect and reduced damag- es by control blood sugar. Objective : The effect of a self-efficacy enhancement program on bloods sugar level of Pregnant Women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. Methods : The purposes of this quasi- experimental research was to examine. The sample comprised pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus who received services at the antenatal clinic, provincial Hospital. Between July to October 2018. The sample size was 50 persons selected. and assigned into an experimental group (n = 25) or a control group (n = 25). The experimental group received the self-efficacy enhancement program, while the control group received standard care. The study instruments consisted of 2 parts, including (1) the experimental instrument i. e., the self-efficacy enhancement program, and (2) the data-collecting instrument com- prising a personal data questionnaire and bloods sugar level. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. Results : the experimental group after receiving the self-efficacy enhancement program had mean scores Fast- ing bloods sugar level ( M = 98.08, SD = 4.82) and 2 hour post prandial (M = 122.08 , SD = 5.01) lower than control group ( M = 115.92, SD = 5.63) ( M = 127.48, SD = 2.83) significantly (t = 12.04, p < .001 และ t = 13.37, p < .001) Conclusion : self-efficacy enhancement program had effect to bloods sugar level of Pregnant Women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.
