Objective : The purpose of this qualitative research was to explore the process of the community participant in the elderly health care. Methods : Data were collected by using review of secondary data, participant observation, in-depth Interview and group discussions. The content analysis, the concept of reflection and the verification of information were used to analyze the data. Results : The results found 5 processes in the community participant in the elderly health care ; 1) Building a team of community leader consisted with the health volunteers, the leader of community and the health service team 2) Identifying the needs of health care with participant in the community forum 3) Designing the elderly care activity for well-elderly, home-bound elderly and bed-bound elderly with participant in the com- munity forum 4) Pushing the elderly health care project in the community development plan 5) Summarizing and publicizing the results of the elderly health care activity in the community. Conclusion : The conclusion of the participant process in the elderly health care in the community found 1) The integration of elderly well-being group focused on health promotions by themselves 2) There was a vol- unteer group to take care of the elderly who were home-bound elderly and bed-bound elderly and they sent the information to the primary health care staff 3) The elderly accessed more health services and 4) The com- munity was more active in taking care of themselves and their family members.
