But still have problems in preparing various aspects including financial readiness. There is no sufficient financial security for living, taking care of themselves to have a good quality of life. Objective : The study aims to study the factors related to financial behavior of the elderly, and to study the problem and obstacles level of financial of the elderly in Sadao district, Songkhla province. Methods : The data were collected from 400 samples. The statistics used for data analysis were Percentage, Standard Deviation, Frequency, t-Test statistic, and Multinomial Regression. Results : The results showed that the financial behavior of the elderly in income and expenditure was different in each group. The group of the beginning elderly (60-69 years old) was more income and expenditure than the middle elderly (70-79 years old) and the last elderly (more than 80 years old). On the other hand, the saving and debt of elderly in each group were not different. The factors related to the financial behavior in 4 characteristics followed by income was age, education level, occupation, investment before retirement, and health condition. Expenditure was age, occupation, and investment before retirement. Saving was occupation, and investment before retirement. And debt was occupation, number of household family, and investment before retirement. Finally, the problem and obstacles level of financial of the elderly mostly were low level. Conclusion : The financial behavior of the elderly in income and expenditure was different in each group. The factors related to the financial behavior were age, education level, occupation, number of household family, investment before retirement, and health condition.
