Abstract
The fundamental characteristics and the adsorption efficiency mono-component of Pb (II) and Cu (II) and binary-
component of Pb (II) and Cu (II) in synthesis wastewater use charcoal and activated carbon from mangosteen peel
compared with of commercial activated carbon were studied. It was found that the proximate analysis of charcoal
was high fixed carbon less content ash and moisture. Suitable for production activated carbon. And value of Iodine
Number of activated carbon greater than commercial activated carbon and charcoal. The focused factor to studies
efficiency adsorption such as pH value in solution should be the rang 3–6, adsorbent dose and contact time.
