Abstract
The purpose of this research is to develop the Voice System to Read the Label for the Visually Impaired.
Having done for assisting people with disabilities visual impairments such as by birth or accident. And the elderly
who have vision problems. So they can understand the text or the text that appears on the label by using the senses of
hearing the sound emitted from the label reader. Research case studies. Labels for pharmaceutical products both
plastic bags and bottles. Details providability of pharmaceutical products. Types of pharmaceutical products.
Description of treatment and duration of medicinal products. The goal of research is for helping the vision impaired to
assist themselves. The medicine is used properly by listening. Research using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)
technology and microcontroller controlled. Test results showed that the actual of the Voice System to Read the Label
for the Visually Impaired. By the purpose, it is functionable, very well.
