In addition, the maximum power density increased
only ca. 2.5% by increasing the cathode backpressure up
to 15 psig, while the cell performance is improved as ca.
100% by increasing ethanol concentration relating to
kinetic reaction at the anode CL. It was concluded that
the crossover effect had less insignificant impact on the
DEFC performance than the anode kinetic reaction effect.
