Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study to determine the amount of palm oil frond biochar for palm oil
growth , yield production and oil percentage. To improve productivity Oil and percent In the use of palm oil, bio- char in
different amounts 0 , 5, 10 and 15 kg / tree. Showed that treatment with palm oil frond biochar for Palm Oil, bio-chemical
fertilizers can increase the growth of oil palm inflorescence height, number of males, females and increase the productivity
of palm oil. However, the quantity Palm Oil Frond Biochar, suitable for growth and increase productivity of oil palm at the 15 kg / tree
The best, followed by that 10 kg/tree. The utilization of biochar in the agriculture production is not only the soil amendment
but it also contain plant nutrients. The incorporation of biochar in to the soil has been claimed as carbon sequestration
which might be help the climate change of the world.
