Abstract
This research is aiming to study and analysis the current problems of the examination management
system of the Faculty of Engineering at Prince of Songkla University. The analysis results will be used to guide
the development of an information system to improve the problems. The system will use a search technique in
combination with hard and soft constrains. After the system is developed, it will be tested and feedbacks will be
collected from many users. These users include the administrators and the staffs who are assigned the schedule by
the system. The feedbacks from the administrators will be used to improve the system while the feedbacks from
the staffs will be used will be used to improve constrains in the system. These constrain help assist in making
scheduling decisions.
