Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study the Performance of Ibnu-Affan Savings Cooperative. Whether
it was concerning ideals, principles and methods of cooperatives and principles of Islamic Religion through the
problems and obstacles of cooperative performance. In order to fine the guideline to improve the cooperative to be
an Efficient Islamic Cooperative. This research was studied in case of Ibnu-Affan Savings Cooperative Ltd. all of
7 branches in 3 southern provinces of Thailand. This research was a qualificative study which analyzed from
primary resource and interviewing the relating committees.
The results found that the performances of Ibnu-Affan Savings Cooperative were operated as ideals,
principles and methods in accordance with Determining Plans and Process of Cooperative Act BE 2542 and
principles of Islamic Religion. However, there were problems and obstacles to administrate namely: 1) The
operating as Cooperative rules and regulations regarding to employing, Most of commitees didn’t operate along
the employable contract and insurance.2) Cash preservation, Cooperative didn’t operate as rules and regulations
from group meetings among the cooperative members.
The research suggests 1) Recommendations to the cooperative committees to know about the problems to
improve to be an Efficient Cooperative. 2) The Cooperative should have standard of finance, cash preservation
along to the resolutions of cooperative committees.
