Abstract
The purpose of this research is to synthesize the mixed metal complex and use as catalyst in the rigid
polyurethane foam. The polymerization times of rigid polyurethane foam investigated were cream time, gel time,
rise time, and tack free time. It was found that the reaction time catalyzed by mixed metal complex of
Cu(tetraen)
2
: Zn(tetraen)
2
was faster than those of Cu(tetraen)
2
or Zn(tetraen)
2
. Density of rigid polyurethane
foams, which was prepared by metal complexes at NCO index 100 and 150 were in the range 37-40 and 49-53
Kg/m
3
, respectively.
