3) Effects of air temperature and flow rate on moisture
removal
Fig. 11 shows how the moisture removal rate is
affected by air dry bulb temperature. Both Fig. 11a and
11b show a similar trend of moisture movement rate.
When the bulb temperature increases, the rate of moisture
movement is higher. In both graphs the moisture gain
appears higher than moisture loss with the average 0.3
g.s
-1
for Fig. 11a and 0.1 g.s
-1
for Fig. 11b. The reason is
discussed as before.

Fig. 12 shows the wet bulb temperature effect on
moisture removal rate. These graphs show the similar
trend with the concentration change (Fig. 7) which is
affected by the same condition. A higher wet bulb
temperature causes a lower rate of moisture removal.
Both Fig. 12a and 12b show that the moisture gain is
higher then moisture loss by an average of around 0.2
g.s
-1

The effect of air flow rate has only minimal effect on
moisture removal rate even though both the moisture gain
and loss have quite constant rate of moisture movement.
