Abstract
This research aimed at 1) developing learning model through the use of podcasting to
develop Malay Language communication skills for undergraduate students 2) evaluating learning model
and 3) studying students’ learning achievement based on learning model. The sample group in this
study was Malay and Educational technology academicians 25 peoples and undergraduate students
majoring in Malay at Thaksin University 33 students. The research instruments were interview forms,
learning model, podcasting, evaluation forms and learning achievement tests. The result revealed that
1) a proposed learning model using podcasting to develop Malay Language communication skills for
undergraduate students consisted of 4 elements are Preparation, Learning, Show and Share Discussion
and Authentic Evaluation 2) the result of evaluation that showing that the proposed learning model
was at a very high level(

= 4.52), and 3) post-test achievement score was higher than the pre-test
score at a significance level of .01
