Optical constants of thin films
The optical properties of a homogeneous thin film are fully described by its complex index of refraction
N=n(
O
)-
i
k(
O
)
where
n
is the real part and
k
is the imaginary part while
O
is the wavelength. In this work, we have
evaluated the optical constants of Ag-alloy and TiO
2
films by TFCalc. Fig. 3 and Fig.4 have shown a transmission
spectrum of Ag-alloy and TiO
2
thin films respectively which measurement from spectrophotometer and simulation
from TFCalc.

The circles are the simulation values.
