It is feasible to establish the BtL plant, there are a
high potential of biomass. The analysis indicated that the
twenty years of project life, payback period of the
production is approximately 2 year of 100 MW fast
pyrolysis and 5 year for 500 MW gasification plant by
sale synfuel is 36 THB/liter. Therefore, it makes the
recycle plant feasible to invest. To achieve economic
feasibility the costs of the BtL process have to be
reduced. Technical developments and simplification to
reduce the investment seem to be the most promising
influence factor. Therefore, BtL plant can be an economic
process in Thailand, if safe investments and biomass
feedstock. However, this project should not be invested
at present unless taking the environmental and sensitivity
analysis into consideration.
