Abstract
The purposes of this research were (1)to compare chemistry problem solving ability of
secondary grade 4 students on the Stoichiometry between pre-test and post-test by using SSCS
model.
(2)
to study retention in learning base on SSCS model and
(3)
to study satisfaction of students
on the Stoichiometry using SSCS model. The subjects were Secondary grade students. The
research instruments were the lesson plans base on SSCS model, chemistry problem solving ability
test and the questionnaire of the student’s satisfaction using SSCS model.
The research finding were (1)Chemistry problem solving ability after using SSCS model ware
higher than before being organized the learning at the . level significantly ( The retention in learning
after 2 weeks were higher than after learning at the . level significantly and(3)The students’
satisfaction scores to SSCS model were in a high level.
