          Abstract
        
        
          The objectives of this research were to study the effective ways of the instructional
        
        
          approaches to enhance analytical thinking of students. The participants of this study included 23 tenth
        
        
          grade students in Princess Chulabhorn's College Satun. The research tools such as lesson plans learning
        
        
          management by Inquiry Approach (5E) Learning Model and Three Levels of Representation in
        
        
          Chemistry, researcher’s field notes of observation and students’ journals. The results revealed that the
        
        
          effective ways of the approach: using videos, animations and situations in the daily life; doing
        
        
          experiments in groups; and using formative and summative assessment.
