Abstract
The objective of the research was to study the adjustment and perception of farmer to Salinization: Case
Study Ho Klong Village, Nong Sim Sub-district, Borabue District, Maha Sarakham Province. The questionnaires
collected from 70 family farmers found that people in the community are percept in the etiology of saline soils 2 types
of naturally occurring and human activities and the perception of the severity of salinity problems. Severity of the
problem is related to the farmers can directly experience. In the adjustment of the farmers is based on events that
appear each time it is an incidental adjustments during the salinity crisis, or just happened not too long ago and
purposeful adjustments with the goal of long-term adjustment or after the crisis. The three adjustment behavior
patterns are to accept the losses that occur, or to reduce losses by disregarding them and seek new alternatives.
