A research hypothesis had been established: the experiment group’s scores in descriptive writing would
be at least 50 percents after they have used the additional Web-based lessons for four weeks in the language
laboratory .
The research found that the additional Web-based lessons helped all 22 students in the experiment group
gain scores in descriptive writing at least 50 percent and the data from the questionnaire on their opinions towards
the additional lessons revealed that the additional lessons were very useful. They help to improve their writing’s
abilities, make the learning more interesting and the drawbacks were that they lack diversity of the activities and
they should cover all the units.
