Research & Development of the Thai behavioral system

Abstract
The social world has now come to the period of information and learning. Research production and
findings are the major source of information for the purpose of social development. Thailand is one of
the leading countries in Asia to be convinced that, in order for a nation to develop to its full capacity,
human development should first be emphasized. At present, various national intervention programs for
the prevention of social problems have not been highly effective. This is due to the fact that these
interventions have not been strongly based on current research findings. In this article, the body of
knowledge in the area of psycho-behavioral science was being brought into focus, concerning the
advancement of knowledge and research methodology. Further more, important research findings and
other research products of those who received financial support from the National Research Council
were demonstrated. In addition, recommendations were made for future applications of the body of
