increase in the swelling ratio was observed in both beads until the maximum swelling ratio was
obtained (at 180 min for the beads containing AgNPs and at 240 min for the blank beads), which was
followed by a drop in the swelling ratio and this occurred for both beads. Besides, there was evidence
showed that the swelling ratio of the beads containing AgNPs was higher than that of the blank beads.
