Abstract
This research is the studies of characteristics of energy use and energy management of
Namorbun Sub-District, Chulaporn District,Nakhonsithammarat Province. The questionnaire
(reliability of 0.95) was used to collect the household energy consumption data. Data collection
has been conducted to analyze the local energy consumption characteristics. The total energy
consumption of Namorbun Sub-District is 816.57 toe/year or 21,252,455.65 baht/year .The major
energy consuming item are electricity, diesel fuel, gasoline and liquefied petroleum Gasses
(LPG),accounting for about 56.60 %, 15.43 %, 22.09 % and 4.84 % of the total energy use respectively.
As a result of this study, energy management within Namorbun Sub-District can help to decrease
the energy consumption and maintain a sustainable management to community.
