Abstract
The aim of this study was to verify microbiological quality of 30 salad samples which were
collected 6 times interval from 4 and 1 food vendors in Mueang and Paphayom districts,
Phatthalung province, respectively. The assessment results using the criterion of microbiological quality
standardization of ready–to-eat foods which announced by Bureau of Quality and Safety of Food,
Department of Medical Sciences showed that all samples had total viable plate count, total mold
count and the quantity of

did not exceed more than the mentioned criterion.

were not detected in all samples. Total yeasts from
most samples did not exceed more than the mentioned criterion except the samples collected for the
