Abstract
The purpose of this research Sky Image Painting: Case study of a natural phenomenon on
the sky was to study a natural phenomenon that happened on earth atmospheric. The phenomena
that happened outer the earth, art works study of Thai and foreigner artists. The study resulted
to create and develop the art works, by the opinion and the experience of a researcher.
From the study result found that the sky phenomena, the secret of the principal world and the
cosmos was a pressing force to the human for a dream to the new invention, also, with an ultimately world
expiring. As such the Thai and Foreigner artists used of its own opinion, knowledge and experienced
creating the art works of a natural phenomenon on the sky matter that happened for a long been, by
using a variety media to express from what they have seen and expressed in to an imagination work.
The results of a sky image painting of the researcher that was built with water color of 25
pictures, oil painted on canvas for 25 pictures and paper mould technique for 25 pictures, totally
75 pictures. The works were divided into 4 groups as follow, a various landscapes during the day
group, seasonal phenomena group, cosmos phenomena group and the cosmos ultimately phenomena.
