Abstract
The Purpose of this descriptive study was to study health behaviors with national health
recommendations of caregivers in the model child centers pattern in Nong Bua Lam Phu Province.
Data were collected by quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data analysis were performed
using descriptive statistic, the health behaviors of caregivers in good and very good child centers were
compared using Chi-square test at 0.05 level of significance. Qualitative data were analyze using
qualitative data analysismethods in conceptual framework, categories and presented by descriptive data.
The results revealed that the practice with national health recommendations of most caregivers
were in the high level, which they had most practice score with national health recommendations in
part 6 about relation in family, the second in part 1 about caring body and things, the third in part 9
about making good mental health. When the health behaviors of caregivers in good and very
good child centers were compared, it was shown that not significant difference (p - value =.185).
The working for health promotion revealed that who worked about child centers concerned to
the important of health behaviors of caregivers explained that the caregivers tried to practice
with national health recommendations, but they had be limitation such as personality, had many
children, had caring their family, therefore they cannot develop or practice for good health behaviors.
The working for promoting in health behaviors of caregivers in the model child centers pattern
such as training with practice , have standard for select and evaluate the caregivers, campaign
should be working for health behaviors of every groups people by network. Everything for good health
behaviors and good health status of caregivers children and communities.
