ETHODOLOGY
This research was review the literature, theory and
philosophy about the factors of design, environment,
micro-climate and the effect to the environment.
A. Literature and Information
The summary of the design that used for this research
were:
1.
The modification of building and environment for
maximize used of the nature factor of each local
climate.
2.
The reducing of the building envelope for reduced
the materials, and the heat and moisture transfer
into the building.
3.
The maximize using of the nature factor by control
important factor such as the evaporation, the
shading, the protection of the wind, and the
reducing of the pressure.
4.
The selecting of the appropriate material, the using
of the thermal mass, and the integrated design of
the thermal mass and the reflective cavity.
5.
The creating of human comfort by zoning design.
6.
The applying of the nature lighting and integrating
to the artificial lighting.
7.
The selecting of the high efficiency equipments
such as air-conditioning pumping and opening.
8.
The reducing of maintenance by control the using
pattern and integrating the electronic control.
B. Thai Local Climate
Thailand was in hot-humid climate that average
temperature was high around the year; humidity was high
around 7-10 months. The characteristic of Thai climate
were:
1.
The different of temperature in the year was about
12.2oc. The different of temperature of the day
was 3.3oc in summer and 7.2oc in winter.
2.
The sun light was about 66% of sun time in the
year. The sun orbit was around the north about 4
months and the south about 8 months.
3.
The humidity was 40-80% RH. The vapor
pressure was around 18-20 mmHg.
4.
The wind was around every direction
C. Human Comfort
From the previous study, human comfort was include
thermal comfort, lighting comfort, acoustical comfort,
visual comfort, indoor air quality, safety and security and
information technology. The architecture design was
integrated with affected factors which were economic
force, modern technology, energy conservation,
environment preservation, quality of life and social value.
D. The Guide Line for Hot Humid Climate Architecture
Design
The appropriate for architecture design in hot humid
climate was the integrated between passive concept and
active concept. The passive concept was the applying of
the nature value for erecting the human comfort. But the
climate change made the passive was not responding to
the human comfort. The active concept was using for
increased the human comfort, especially the modern
living, this cause of the high energy demand and high
investment.
This research was the extended knowledge bases for
the integrated the passive concept and active concept or
the hybrid concept. This concept was using for the micro-
climate modification, the building shape and orientation
and the building envelope.
E. The Sustainable Architecture Concept
The sustainable architecture concept was the reducing
of energy and natural value in the building. The reused,
recycle and renewable energy will be applied. The new
paradigm of sustainable architecture was show in table 1.

The new paradigm of the architecture designed was
reducing the energy used in the building and integrated
with the renewable energy and ecology system, which is
the philosophy of modern living that go to the ultimate
sustainable foe the future. The researcher was applying
the new paradigm concept to design the sustainable
taluses.

F. The New Paradigm Shift of the Architecture
The new paradigm shift of the architecture was the
concept to reduce the energy used in the building. In the
present almost of the building was using the energy from
the connected grid, some of building was applying the
renewable energy but still used the connected grid. The
new paradigm shift was guide the method that the
