Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effect of using a comic book as a teaching medium for breathing exercise
and inhalation practice on asthma control in school-aged children. The sample was 50 school age children with 25
patients received only routine nursing care, while the experimental group received breathing exercise and inhalation
practice using a comic book. The results shows that the experimental group received a comic book had knowledge and
self-care behavior for Asthma control higher than the group received only routine nursing care and had lower asthmatic
attack.
