Abstract
This descriptive research was aimed to study the desirable academic leadership behaviors and to study the
academic leadership behaviors of school administrator in order to create and asses the model of the development of
academic leadership behaviors for school administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Educational Service
AreaThe research revealed that academic leadership behaviors of school administrators under the Office of Nakhon
Ratchasima Educational Service Area consist of four behavioral approaches: school visions and goals determination,
curriculum and learning management, the supervision and assessment of learning management, and academic
atmosphere creation. Also, the research indicated that the model of the development of academic leadership behaviors
for school administrators under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Educational Service Area is composed of five parts:
1) model-monitoring concepts and principles, 2) objectives, 3) leadership behaviors in need of development, 4) the
development plan, and 5) four development procedures which include the study of leadership behaviors in need of
development, the preparation, the development, and the development assessment. Lastly, the expertas assessment of
the modelas appropriateness and feasibility exhibited that the appropriateness is ranged at high to highest level and the
feasibility is also ranged at high to highest level
