Abstract
The objective to study the appropriate quantity of dry
Spirodela polyrrhiza
with or without
fermented in indigenous chickens feed. The experiment composted of 7 treatments 4 replications of 6
birds each (Praduhangdam) and used 1 day old mixed sex chickens. The experimental diets were dry
S.
polyrrhiza
as 0, 5, 10 and 15%, dry fermented
S. polyrrhiza
5, 10 and 15% with 2 phases as 0-6 and 7-
16 weeks, the diets were isonitrogenic and isocaloric. Analysis of variance in CRD, and the treatment
means showing significant differences were indicated by using DMRT. All statements of significance
were based on the 0.05 level of probability. The result showed that dry
S. polyrrhiza
with or without
fermented can be applied to 15% of all 2 periods range are 0-6 and 7-16 weeks of age (P< 0.05). Feed
cost per 1 kg weight gain is increased with increasing fermented
S. polyrrhiza
level (P< 0.05)
