Abstract
This study was to develop tests to measure brain capacities of transformation- visual by
determining the quality of tests, and constructing norms and manuals.
There being six test as follow :
test 1 to measure the cognition of transformation – visual, test 2 to measure the memory - recording of
transformation- visual, test 3 to measure the memory- retention of transformation – visual, test 4 to
measure the divergent production of transformation – visual, test 5 to measure the convergent
production of transformation- visual and test 6 to measure the evaluation of transformation – visual.
The sample, by means of multi-stage random sampling, consisted of 856 students of primary grade 6
from schools in Songkhla Educational Zones 1, 2, and 3, in the 2006 academic year.
The findings of the study were as follows. The content validity of six test show values from
0.80 to 1.00. The construct validity by means of correlation coefficients between item scores and total
scores minus scores of items showed the following values of statistical significance at the .01 level for all
the tests. The reliability of six test show values 0.77 to 0.89. The reliability of the scoring criteria show
values 0.99. The norms of the tests showed the normal T scores as follows: T
