บทคัดยอ
การศึกษาแหลงวางไขและอนุบาลลูกปลาบึกจากฐานวัฒนธรรมและภูมิปญญาชาติพันธุในพื้ นที่สองฝ งแมน้ํ า
โขงปลาบึก โดยมีวัตถุประสงคเพื่อศึกษาวัฒนธรรม ภูมิปญญาชาติพันธุเกี่ยวกับปลาบึ กในพื้นที่สองฝงแมน้ํ าโขง ที่
เชื่อมโยงกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงและพัฒนาในอนุภูมิภาคลุมน้ําโขง การสืบคนแหลงวางไขและอนุบาลลูกปลาบึกจากฐาน
วัฒนธรรมและภูมิป ญญาของกลุมชาติพันธุรวมถึงการกําหนดพื้นที่การวางไขและอนุบาลลู กปลาบึกตามระบบตําแหน ง
สารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร (GIS) โดยใชระเบี ยบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพประกอบกับการสํารวจพื้นที่แมน้ําโขงในเขตจังหวัด
เชียงราย การศึกษาพบวาปลาบึ กนั้นไดถูกกําหนดความหมายใหแตกตางกันไปตามพัฒนาการดานวั ฒนธรรมของรัฐ
ตางๆที่รวมเขตแดนและใชประโยชนจากแมน้ํ าโขงจนความหมายของปลาบึกไดหมดไปจากระบบวัฒนธรรมของ
ชาวบานแตองคความรูเกี่ยวกับปลาบึ กยังคงมีอยู ในภูมิปญญาของไทยและลาวและงานวิจัยนี้ ไดระบุพื้นที่อนุรักษเพื่อการ
ผสมพันธุและการวางไขปลาบึก

Abstract
The research has the objectives to study the culture and indigenous wisdom of Mekong Giant Catfish. The
indigenous wisdoms were from the change and development of Greater Mekong Basin Sub-region, to explore in
spawning grounds and nursery grounds fingerlings areas investigation of the Mekong Giant Catfish on the Mekong
culture and indigenous wisdom base on the GIS. The study was conducted by qualitative research, to explore the area
in Chiang Rai Province.The study findings were following: The Mekong Giant Catfish had been given different
meaning base on the development of all states that share the border of Mekong River. Thereafter, the meaning of The
Mekong Giant Catfish disappeared from the cultural system. However, the indigenous wisdom of the Mekong Giant
Catfish has still existed in Thai and Lao wisdoms. The study specifies the conserve area for the reproduction of The
Mekong Giant Catfish in spawning grounds and nursery grounds fingerlings areas of the Mekong Giant Catfish
