Abstract
This article aims to study the discourse on communal culture. The three main issues in this study
includes the discourse on community belief, natural resource usage, and community way and community being.
The results show that the discourse on community belief includes the behavior of creating the miracle belief
with the creation of belief and the rumor with the creation of belief. The discourse on community belief is
created to increase respect and faith of community ancestors and bring people in the community to have the
same restraint ant create the unity. For the discourse on natural resource usage, it including with natural
