Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study the concept of 0Political Philosophy3 in Eastern philosophy such as Indian
philosophy, Chinese philosophy and Buddhist philosophy. This study is a qualitative research and examined through numerous
doctrines of Indian philosophers, Chinese philosophers, Buddhist philosophy in Tripitaka, and the related perspectives of
scholars in modern age.
The results show that political concepts in Indian philosophy, Chinese philosophy and Buddhist philosophy generally
showed some consistency in moral and ethical leaders who were able to make people happy. However, the leaders who lack of
moral and ethic could make people sever torment too. In addition to, Taoist philosophy which emphasizes on free government
also agree on the characteristics of leader. In the perspective of Thai political reform, it is important that Thai politician have to
be reformed in many ways such as the selected politician system that can screen and select politician who are more moral and
ethic and who can make the ultimate sacrifice for other and one more significant is how to reform political structure with no
any corruption. To do so, other reformation in Thailand would be successful at last.
